The idea behind

Queens For Courage..

founded by two Henry County "hometown" girls, Courtney and Lilly. The idea was created by these girls when they noticed so many of our Wounded Warriors returning home, but needing support to adapt to the changes they would encounter in both their lives, and those of their families.

The intent of Queens For Courage is to provide awareness and support for our servicemen and women who are returning home and require prosthetics or prosthetic care, and their family members.

We are working with the American Legion's - Heroes to Hometowns Program. This is a transition program for our severely injured service members and establishes a support network and coordinates resources as our Wounded Warriors return to their hometowns.

Our efforts include several fundraisers, including: raffles, a golf tournament, sponsorship rallies, a tea party, appearances by our Ambassadors, and a beauty pageant to crown additional queens in an effort to spread awareness across the State of Georgia, and ultimately, the country.

All funds raised will be donated directly
to the American Legion on Veteran's Day 2008.

We hope you will join in our cause
to SUPPORT OUR TROOPS!

A tribute to those who serve!
